Music I Like

Posted by Sense-Offender Jun. 12, 2008 @ 3:44 PM EDT

I actually got around to organizing a list of music I like. There are some bands that only have a couple of songs that I know and like, so I left them out. These include the Who, David Bowie, the Beatles, Metallica, and more. I only have one classical artist right now, but I may add more in the future after I've listened to more. edit:

Whenever I discover more bands that I like, I'll add them here.

The band, Negura Bunget has a Romanian letter in its name, but NG freaks out when I try to use it, so I just replaced it with an "a".

Here's what happens when I try to use the letter...

%u0103

edit:
There just might be a band or two missing from this list. I was looking over it and realized that Electric Wizard and Winds were not there before. I don't know how that happened, but this could mean that there are others not there that should be there.

That is a long list.

Jun. 16, 2008 | 7:50 PM Sense-Offender responds:

haha yeah. I listen to music quite a lot. There are certain other NG members that I think might have longer lists than mine, though.

Jun. 17, 2008 | 10:38 PM D3NTATUS says:

i am going to totally copy you and do this same thing

Jun. 18, 2008 | 8:43 PM Sense-Offender responds:

I wonder whose list is longer.

Jun. 18, 2008 | 10:40 AM Kiddmeizter says:

I think I might have a LITTLE bit more, but I'm not sure, how many GB's you got?

Jun. 18, 2008 | 8:45 PM Sense-Offender responds:

Well, when I download albums, I burn them on CDs and then delete them from my computer. I have at over 200 CDs (I counted, but I don't remember the exact number). A couple of them have 2 albums on them.

Jun. 19, 2008 | 3:56 PM Kiddmeizter says:

Ah, I See.
I Don't like burning CD's, I always lose them! D:
But I think you have more than I do, But I've completely forgotten how much a Cd holds. :'D

Jun. 19, 2008 | 8:19 PM Sense-Offender responds:

The ones I get hold 80 minutes. Well, they say that on the boxes, but for some reason it's 79:67 or something.

Jun. 19, 2008 | 8:34 PM D3NTATUS says:

it's because when they label data on things, they round up.

i.e. my hard drive is labeled as 40 gigs, but it's really 37.something. it's because of some weird reason that i forgot that has something to do with the ambiguity of the word gigabyte.

also whose list is longer, yours or mine? i can't tell.

Jun. 19, 2008 | 9:56 PM Sense-Offender responds:

Mine's longer.

And so is my list. lolgetit?

But yeah, my list is longer.

Jun. 23, 2008 | 9:39 PM Sense-Offender responds:

There's lots of prog rock on there, too, you know.

I don't listen to enough of other genres I like aside from metal and prog rock. I should start looking around.

Jun. 21, 2008 | 11:46 PM Oppugnant says:

Awesome, you got around to making your list. :)

You've got a lot of great stuff here, and a lot I've never heard of myself.

Jun. 23, 2008 | 9:42 PM Sense-Offender responds:

thanks.

Yeah, it seems that I listen to some stuff that is unknown even among those who listen to unknown bands.

Jul. 12, 2008 | 12:37 AM D3NTATUS says:

Dec. 11, 2008 | 2:10 AM Sense-Offender responds:

I've recently discovered the awesomeness of Radiohead, so I added them, among others.

Jan. 16, 2009 | 8:49 AM Sawdust says:

Like whoa, that's a lot.

I think the only bands I like there are Black Sabbath, Radiohead and Queen.

Which is an amazingly small amount.

Jan. 20, 2009 | 4:37 PM Sense-Offender responds:

Radiohead is one of my favorites.

Jan. 16, 2009 | 8:50 AM Sawdust says:
